Aid Meridian Ltd (ABN 62 688 406 117) is a registered Australian charity and Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). Aid Meridian is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and operates in accordance with the ACNC Act 2012.
Aid Meridian Ltd is incorporated as a company limited by guarantee under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). Our registered address is 27 Mayneview St, Milton QLD 4064, Australia.
By accessing or using the Aid Meridian website (aidmeridian.org), making a donation, submitting an enquiry, or engaging with Aid Meridian Ltd in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or make a donation.
Aid Meridian reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. The date of last update is noted at the bottom of this page.
All donations of $2 or more made to Aid Meridian Ltd are tax deductible in Australia in accordance with our DGR endorsement. A receipt will be issued to the email address provided at the time of donation.
Donations are processed securely via Stripe. Aid Meridian does not store your payment card details at any point. By making a donation, you agree to Stripe's terms of service, available at stripe.com/au/legal.
Monthly recurring donations (Rescue Partner program) will be billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. You may cancel your recurring donation at any time by contacting info@aidmeridian.org. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at info@aidmeridian.org within 30 days of the transaction date. Aid Meridian is not obliged to provide a refund but will act reasonably in considering refund requests.
All donations are made on an unconditional basis and become the property of Aid Meridian Ltd upon receipt, to be applied at our discretion toward our charitable purposes. Aid Meridian does not guarantee that donations will be applied to any specific project or program.
Aid Meridian is committed to transparency in the use of donated funds. All funds are used exclusively for charitable purposes consistent with our objects, including:
Aid Meridian publishes annual financial reports in accordance with ACNC requirements. These are available on the ACNC Charity Register at acnc.gov.au.
Corporate sponsorship arrangements are subject to a separate written agreement between Aid Meridian Ltd and the sponsoring organisation. In the absence of a written agreement, these general Terms and Conditions apply.
Sponsorship contributions made in cash to Aid Meridian Ltd may be tax deductible in Australia, subject to the nature of the arrangement and applicable tax law. Aid Meridian Ltd does not provide tax advice. Sponsors should seek independent advice regarding the deductibility of their contributions.
Aid Meridian reserves the right to decline or terminate any sponsorship arrangement that is inconsistent with our values, charitable objects, or reputational standards.
Aid Meridian collects personal information — including name, email address, phone number, and organisation name — for the purposes of processing donations, issuing receipts, responding to enquiries, and communicating with donors, sponsors, and volunteers.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required to process donations (Stripe) or as required or authorised by law.
Aid Meridian complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting info@aidmeridian.org. We will respond to all privacy requests within 30 days.
By submitting an enquiry or donation form on this website, you consent to Aid Meridian contacting you in relation to your enquiry or donation. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

Volunteers may be required to enter into a confidentiality agreement and/or complete background screening depending on the nature of their role. Aid Meridian reserves the right to terminate any volunteer arrangement at any time without notice.
Volunteers act in a personal capacity and are not authorised to make representations, enter into agreements, or otherwise act on behalf of Aid Meridian Ltd without express written authorisation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aid Meridian Ltd, its directors, officers, volunteers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website, your donation, or your engagement with Aid Meridian Ltd in any capacity.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other non-excludable statutory protections.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your engagement with Aid Meridian Ltd will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
